It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
So... I'm urging everyone to get checked for Breast Cancer this month.

Everyone, Yes... Men and Woman!
Although women are 100 times more likely to get breast cancer
than men, Men can get breast cancer too!

Most advanced breast cancer cases are found in women over age 50.
About 20 to 30% of woman with cancer have a family history of the disease.
Women who got their periods before the age of twelve  and/or went through menopause after the age of 55, also have an increased chance of getting breast cancer.

Examine Yourself Monthly!
Breast cancer lumps usually do not hurt...
if you find a lump, call your health care provider.
Anything out of the norm should be checked out, (including skin ulcers),
and remember, early breast cancer does not have any tell tale signs.

If you know someone with breast cancer,
then you also know it's hard to know what to say to them
and when to say it...  now you can show your support by sending a caring cancer card.

I've chosen some of my favorites to share with you.
Those of you suffering through Breast Cancer...

My Thoughts and Prayers are with you.
You Are Not Alone!

Be Well and Stay Well!
